It was located close to the Megalochori port, had an amazing breakfast spread every morning, (Alex is a wonderful cook.) and the staff were so welcoming. Definitely going back next year. One of my favorite places I stayed in Greece. When we checked out the taxi came as we’re settling the food bill and I told my family to go ahead to Skala without me so I could pay. They left and Alex asked how I was getting to Skala, I told him I was walking and he said “I’ll take you on my motorcycle.” Such nice people there.

Seaside Studios is perfectly located: it's a 2-3 minute walk from the ferry terminal and right across from a lovely stretch of beach that felt private, with only a few other people on it when I was there. The hotel room was spacious, the balcony overlooked the sea and I got to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. This is a quiet part of the island: I came to relax and read and write and to be alone so it was perfect for me. There are a few places to eat nearby and two grocery stores. I highly recommend Seaside Studios if you really want a break from things.
