Picked up by Despoina from the Port and returned by Antonis after allowing me late afternoon check out because of my ongoing ferry timetable. What a godsend, the kind of gesture that makes all the difference when you're travelling. Although my room No.1 was on the ground floor, I still had a lovely seaview from my terrace. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely hosts who were very approachable. Despoina and Antonis went out of their way to ensure my stay with them was a pleasant one. Efcharistó 😊 The location affords peace and quiet, and it only takes about 20 minutes to walk along the seafront from Marina Beach to the town of Livadia. There is a tiny beach nearby, but if you walk along to Faros Taverna, there are free sunbeds on a lovely wee beach, and you can enjoy lunch by the sea, in an idyllic Greek setting.

This remarkably well run property deserves a 10 because everything you need to enjoy your stay works .... cold fridge, instant air-conditioning, effective ceiling fan, intact fly screen, coat hangers with clips, comfortable beds and reliable wifi (think I even got messages while in the square). Across from the central square it's a small nest of studios with kitchenettes, many with sea views. Ancient dig themed front wall nice feature. Our newly renovated bathroom, a wet room, drained well, mirror had a blue tooth connection and useful magnifier. Huge roof top terrace with panoramic views of the port. You can relax there and appreciate the sea breeze on outdoor furniture. Plus there is a clothes hanging area with the cutest pegs for guests to use. Hosts Andrea and Irene attend to every detail, anticipate guests needs and have thoughtful systems in place to ensure everything in their control functions to a high standard. Extensive library of books in language order. Fabulous! Close to the night action at the square. Missing Andrea's good bathroom, evenly tiled floors and conveniently located power points already. All the restaurants we ate at in Lavadia port and beach front cooked up delicious food. Be ready to stay a while on lovely Tilos and eat out!

Exceptional family run complex, the hosts were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, even getting up early to take us to the port which is only 6 minutes walk. Boasting a garden and views of garden, ANEMOESSA APTS is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Livadia, 50 metres from Livadia Beach. With city views, this accommodation offers a patio. The aparthotel has family rooms. The location is stunning – to have breakfast with the sea shore litterally five meters away, was truly amazing. An olive tree and a big parasol give the terrace plenty of shade to relax in. The tavernas, the bakery and the three convenience stores of Livadia is within a walking distance of 50-150 meters. The apartments are well-equipped with everything you need (and more…such as a smoothie blender!). Our room was cleaned everyday by the charming Tukta. The host Popi is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome (she even brought us delicious home-made pie and walnut cake!). Any requests we had she sorted out right away. This was by far the best accomodation we’ve stayed at in Greece we had a great time.

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Dionysia and Michaelis were great hosts and looked after us well during our short stay. The accommodation was comfortable clean and well equipped. Lots of good restaurants , supermarkets and the sea front a short walk down the hill , we will definitely be returning

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Stelios and Efthimios were the most charming hosts and warmly welcomed us to our apartment. From the initial care and contact upon booking, to our meeting with them when we arrived on the ferry, to our departure, everything was filled with Greek charm and hospitality. We arrived as their paying guests but left feeling we had made friends. Not only with them but also with Fotini who kept everywhere in tip top condition and made sure our apartment was clean and all our needs were met. Fotini’s charming feline friends made our stay even more enjoyable. So much so, we christened it Olympuss in honour of the friendly cats. We would not hesitate to return in the future as the accommodation represented excellent value for money.
