A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside.

At the guest house, each unit comes with a desk. Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also provide guests with free WiFi, while certain rooms will provide you with a terrace. This is one of the nicest places (guesthouses) I have ever stayed on my travels. I had 1 of the 2 rooms downstairs right by the water, get up and from your bed you have a view of the lake and the mountains.  Fantastic owner Nia but also a very good and friendly team behind her give you a very welcome feeling right away. I really can't say anything negative about this accommodation. Please note that this is a guesthouse, not a 5* luxury hotel.  The small beautifully maintained garden and all the plants everywhere contribute to a very nice atmosphere.  Please note that the rooms downstairs are more difficult to reach for people who are not very mobile due to the steep stairs (15 steps). There are rooms higher up but of course they lack the charm of staying close to the water.  The restaurant of this guesthouse (with a very nice view) is also worth it. A few special things on the menu but super tasty; definitely try the immune booster. The best restaurants for dinner for me (Hub Tata restaurant closes at 7PM) are on the other side of Tuktuk (15-20 minutes walk) but you can also rent a scooter at Nia.  I would have liked to stay longer but the room was fully booked so book in advance and keep in mind that the Samosir peninsula is so nice that you will probably want to stay longer than planned.

Set 10 km from Siti Nurbaya Bridge and 47 km from Mount Talang, Mila Homestay features accommodation situated in Padang. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Everything... Ms Dila hospitality is beyond expectation. Really Happy with my stay here. Thank you for the breakfast (she ensure us to get breakfast even we checkout early morning) and your great hospitality.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I had a wonderful experience at the Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Hotel. They helped to arrange everything for me. The jungle trek was great and we were fed so much food that we could not finish it all. Brian explained so many things to us and we got to see many animals.

Excellent guest house, I highly recommend the view for your stay in Padang or Mentawai. Robert (British) picked me up from the airport for 250,000 idr. The guest house is located a few minutes from the town centre and the Mentawai ferry port. It is on the hill side, 100m above the beach with an incredible view of the ocean. The sunsets are magnificent. Unlike the city centre, the place is very quiet so you can sleep very well. The rooms are very clean and bright and the largest room upstairs has a balcony with a breathtaking view. One room has its own bathroom and the shared bathroom is spacious, clean and has a real shower with hot water. I was supposed to stay for 2 days, I went back for another 10 days. You can rent a scooter at the guest house or ask Robert to take you somewhere (leaving a tip is always good). You can use the washing machine for free. Coffee, tea and hot and cold water are free as well . You can eat on the premises or in the restaurants on the street. There is a choice of breakfast (Indonesian or continental). Robert and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating and does his best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. So after having stayed in several hotels in Padang, I will only come back here.

Alek the owner is an amazing host, he really takes care of you. The jungle 2 day jungle trek he arranged was amazing too. The accommodation in right in the middle of the town and close to everything. The rooms are good and the bed is super comfy. All in all, I had an amazing stay here.

Rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Jon is amazing, great conversation and he made sure to help everyone get their perfect stay, he enjoys people and it shows. I changed my plans to stay more here. The place is perfectly clean, the rooms are nice and simple but nothing is missing, bed is comfortable and WiFi works perfectly

Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

It's located on the outskirts of Medan. There's a nice garden, so you don't have a feeling you're in a big city, and also tasty food in their restaurant. The owner is easy to communicate with. The room is comfortable and clean, with good airconditioning. Wifi works well. We left early in the morning, so we couldn't get the proper breakfast, but we still got a delicious fruit salad to-go.
