The room was very clean and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with our hosts, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay. They were incredibly kind and welcoming - truly wonderful people.

Everything was lovely, inside and out. Our host, Brenda, was wonderful. She made us feel right at home and she went out of her way to help us with dinner arrangements as some restaurants and pubs have not opened since the pandemic.

Our host was exceptional! Anything we needed was promptly provided (extension cord, floor heater). She cooked us a traditional Irish breakfast and it was delicious! The country setting was quiet, beautiful and picturesque. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Amber Inn.

The hosts were the best hosts we had a electric shortage and they did beyond support we could have asked for... its a fabulous hse short distance from local town ..

The Plain View er gististaður í Boyle, 8,1 km frá Ballinked-kastala og 10 km frá Carrick-on-Shannon-golfklúbbnum. Þaðan er útsýni yfir garðinn. We were looking for a location that was close to Kilronan Castle for a family wedding and we had the greatest of luck to discover this gem of a holiday home. It's owned by Padraig, who is the kindest and most helpful gentleman you can imagine. When we had difficulty finding a taxi late in the evening to get to and from the venue he very generously shuttled three of our family members there. The property itself is immaculate it looks small from the front but it's very spacious inside, everything is absolutely perfect and new and all required items are already there. Basically bring your toothbrush. The land goes all the way down from the property to the lake through a very pastoral setting, some woodlands - and he has his own small cove with an oar powered longboat and a small sailboat which are available for use should you desire. There are many amenities in the area of which unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of, although we did take the boat out for a row on beautiful Lough Key and can only imagine how enjoyable it would be to have the family out on a nice sunny day maybe doing a little fishing or for a picnic on Bullock Island. The entire house has been completely renovated and is very modern. An extremely up to date kitchen - and there was even some ground coffee and a cafetiere! A more complete beautiful and perfect holiday domicile I really can't imagine. Thanks again to Padraig for making our short stay so memorable. Kevin and family

Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.
