Everything was great at this place, a real hidden gem in Nairobi. I was able to pre-order dinner which tasted excellent, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall. The only downside was that the pillows were a bit too hard for my taste and I got a bit of a neck ache unfortunately. And unfortunately there was a construction project on the plot next to the place which was loud in the morning, but it's not their fault, I was just unlucky that the construction was going on during my visit. Wonderful cottage in Karen — we stayed for two days to do laundry and regroup after a Safari. We chose the place to get a feel for living in Kenya after the Safari bubble and loved it. They did our laundry. We walked to Giraffe Center. Hit the Karen Blixen museum. And at lunch at Tin Roof Cafe and dinners at Talisman and Cultiva. Great stay. Easy to Uber about. Yummy breakfast.
