The service provided by Alex and Choy was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most incredible and personalized way, with a special touch: our names were displayed on a welcome sign—a thoughtful detail that made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. We stayed in a room with a jungle view, and hearing the soothing sounds of the animals was a unique and relaxing experience. The service was flawless, whether at the tables, on the beach, or by the pool. Everything was designed to make us feel pampered at all times. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation, and we will definitely be returning!

Welcome to Hostal Hansi – Your Cozy Escape in Bocas del Toro! 📍 Located just 50 meters from the docks and a 17-minute walk to El Istmito Beach, Hostal Hansi offers the perfect base to explore the... The place is close to everything and it feels like a house. The staff is great they keep the house totally organized, clean and helped us with information we needed to make our activities. Worthy to stay with them.

Perfect location just at the edge of town, within walking distance or a quick $1 cab. Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.

Located on Bocas del Toro, Barrbra BnB Over The Sea is a 2 story house built directly over the sea. The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it and I struggle to think of anything they could have improved on to be honest. We were there for two nights and were the only guests who didn’t heed the news of the civil unrest en route and boy did it pay off! After communicating with Marco we knew it was safe to continue travel to the ‘BnB’ and the journey was absolutely fine with no delays or disruptions. The benefit of us knowing the journey would be fine was that we had the whole place to ourselves, other than Marco and his team (Ray who makes the BEST breakfasts and their colleague whose name fails me right now, who sets the rooms up immaculately) there were also two adorable dogs and two beautiful cats on site (all local rescues) who all came together to make our stay feel just like home. Their tagline on the welcome guide full of local tips, recommendations and discounts is ‘Welcome Home’ and it was spot on! They have thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible and some. The weather wasn’t fully on our side for our stay but it was chilled, with beautiful views from both the open air deck and sheltered hammock area, impeccable service and we had practically the choice of the rooms, even after an immediate upgrade. The place is only a few minutes walk from the livelier centre but it’s 100% worth it, after extensive travel over the last 10 years this is comfortably the best all round experience I have had and I would recommend to anyone to book this wonderful property for your stay in Bocas Del Toro (and already have). Also worth noting that within the welcome guide there are discounts offered on recommended restaurants and activities in BDT, we benefitted from these twice in restaurants and once in a bar and they were 10/10, Marco even booked our onward transport from BDT at a far better price than we’d found ourselves.

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Not only was the Dolphin Bay Hideaway the most beautiful location we have stayed at in Bocas del Toro, but Brian and his team were also the most welcoming and attentive hosts we have met during our travels. The scenery is breathtaking, surrounded by rich nature and abundant wildlife, and the food was simply outstanding. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—like early morning coffee, the relaxed atmosphere of just spending time at the Hideaway, and the freedom to shape each day as we wished. Brian is a truly remarkable host: knowledgeable, generous with his time, always ready for a friendly chat, yet never intrusive. We left feeling not only rested and inspired, but also deeply grateful for such an unforgettable experience.
