Our cottage was beautiful, super comfortable and clean and it was so pleasant to fall asleep to the sounds of the waterfall nearby. When booked in advance, you can also have vegan meals here. They were all really good.

This recently renovated homestay features a building dating back to 2010, which is 1.7 km from the Lagarto Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

Set in Milagrosa in the Sao Tome Island region, Welfare AgroTurismo features a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can make use of a bar. This was the best place we stayed in Sao Tome. It is about 30 to 40 min drive from the airport. The garden in the front of the property is fabulous and well designed with many interesting plants and fruit trees. There is also a cocoa plantation through which you can take a leisurely walk. The owner, Maria, was an excellent host. She was very welcoming and friendly and she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The food was very good and we had 3 evening meals there all of which were delicious and well presented. The Mousse au Chocolat made with cocoa from their own plantation was so good that we had it for dessert each time. The breakfast is very good too and we were given plenty of fresh fruits and fruit juice. We stayed there twice and both rooms we were given were very clean and the beds very comfortable. If you are after peace and quiet this is a fantastic place as you are surrounded by nature. There is also the option to take longer walks in the area.

The accommodation provides a minimarket, and currency exchange for guests. Pleasantly surprised. I booked last minute and I was not expecting anything fancy but the room was really great! A/C worked, shower with warm water and a fridge to keep bottle of water inside. The staff goes beyond everything if you can manage to communicate with them! The location for me was perfect, central and near a supermarket. The breakfast at the bar downstairs is also great! You can walk around, it is safe ! I would definitely stay there again.

Very good AC. Comfortable bed. Can not fault it at all for this standard of accommodation. Breakfast is served in a roof top veranda. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the fruit served was just amazing! Free pick-up from the airport is a real bonus! The host was very helpful to assist in changing money in town and to rent a car as well. The host was always accessible via a WhatsApp if needed. Very good WIFI in the room. From here we walked in to town (bars, seafront) in 5min max. There is a shop downstairs so you can pick up few items if needed. What not to like.
