Excellent hotel amidst a scenic location. Although the valley and the river are the main highlights, the hotel itself is also very premium. We had dinner at the restaurant which was really delicious. Breakfast was also good, and the location on terrace just adds to the experience. The shower in the bathroom was just amazing.

If you are looking for a true Albanian experience. Do not look further, because Progon House has it all. Progon House is hosted by an elderly couple and is located in a very remote area. The town is a collection of sheep shepherds, bee keepers, and is very very small. It is about 45 min drive from Tepelena. The elderly couple is super sweet! We wanted to barbeque at our first night and they already put on the fire for us. They supplied us with oil, spices, and vegetables from the garden. You can count on a traditional breakfast and we also paid for a traditional Albanian diner which included stewed lamb, spinach pie, and some kind of paella with chicken, although I am sure they don't call it paella. We had an absolute wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this to anyone that is open for a bit adventure in Albania!!

Super nice hosts who fulfill your every wish. Amazing breakfast - very delicious. Nice room, great guesthouse with great garden (and a great pool ;-)). A lovely place to get à time incident the montains. Good trail possible to do. The rooms are confortable and the garden very quiet and nice. The beakfast and the diner are made with homemade products. At last Mira and Salvador have à warm welcoming. I recommand warmly !

    Stunning hotel in stunning location. Comfortable and very clean. Great to swim in the clear water of the river. The food was very good (best tomahawk steak ever, and kofte and wonderful breakfast) and the local wine were excellent. Staff at restaurant very professional.

    Great location, very clean. Comfy bed. Fresh air. Food is local and tasty. The pool was not ready but still too soon to have a swim this time of the year. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. Great place to relax or sightsee.
