We asked for a packed breakfast so we could leave early ( we left at 7 and we were at the top of the pass at 9.15). They were very accommodating and their son could speak English which helped. The restaurant is a 5 min walk from the accommodation. The views and peace are amazing and we saw fireflies when it got dark. The horses just wandered about the front garden. Very kind host family, cheap and filling local food. Great spot to relax and get away from the crowds. Good beds but don't expect anything fancy. Far from Valbone itself, 1 hr walk. But it is a super beautiful walk. Pick up probably can be arranged. The guest house is a really tactical and good location as it's the last guest house on the valbona-theth trail. This also makes it really beautiful as you are fully immersed in the middle of the mountains. It feels detached from the world and so relaxing. The hosts are so nice and sweet. They stayed with me in the morning and gave me company until the rain ended and I could start the hike. Food is also great. I had both breakfast and dinner. It has an amazing view on the many peaks around. Traditional stone house which has a beautiful garden with trees and bench with table where you can sit and enjoy the views. The water in front of the guesthouse comes from the mountains directly. Everything is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and you can make yourself a coffee if you want.
