My friend and I walked the Transcaucasian Trail, and at Lu-Na we found more than we expected. The house is very comfortable and has an amazing view, but what truly made the difference was the incredibly warm welcome we received from Ani, Hayk, and Artak. We felt like guests in the truest sense, and we had the chance to talk with our hosts and sharing even breakfast, learning a lot about Armenia and its culture. I sincerely recommend a stop at this guesthouse, whether you're a hiker or simply someone who loves nature. Mariam was the star of this stay. A wonderful host that shared so much precious insight on Armenian culture, history and traditions. We chatted forever! The property is secluded and quiet which is exactly what we needed. There are a couple of rough patches driving up and the last few meters before the property is a dirt road but don’t let anyone scare you because it’s very easy to reach even with a very low clearance car as our rental. The food prepared for us for both dinner and breakfast was simply amazing. Tasty and earthy and home grown. Too bad we stayed only one night.

We spent a very comfortable night at one of the most original accomodations I have ever had - an old Soviet truck converted into a caravan!
