Everything was superlative. We opted for the room with a lake view and it was really worth it. The room was spacious and very clean. All the staff together with the owners did everything to make our stay wonderful. The indoor pool is large enough and the water is at a temperature of 28 degrees. Both breakfast and dinner can satisfy the most refined tastes with the variety and freshness of the products. We thank the hosts and the entire staff who made our stay so pleasant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Landhotel Hochlackenhof, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nestled in a very calm part of the landscape, this familly managed accommodation offers a serene and peaceful environment that is perfect for relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Every corner was spotless, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards of hygiene. The room was not only clean but also very comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding kitchen. The meals prepared here were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, or dinner, the quality of the food was consistently high, and it truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Overall, the quality of accommodation at Landhotel Hochlackenhof is top-notch. The combination of a tranquil setting, immaculate rooms, and superb cuisine made my stay an unforgettable experience. The accomodation is situated next to a main street, but it was still quiet at night. The view from the room was nice. It is really close to the center of Fuschl am See. The room was small, but nice and had all the necessary equipment. The hosts very nice and friendly and the breakfast was really big and very good.

The hotel was beautifully presented and our room very comfortable. The view from the lovely large balcony was stunning and the parasol an added bonus while sitting out. Just a short walk to the lake where we could swim. The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful, offering advice and ideas about things to do and places to visit. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel is a sister hotel to a much larger hotel next door which offers restaurants and activities we could join in with. There is a golf course as part of the sister hotel which has a wonderful cafe/restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious BBQ evening there with accompanying live music. The natural pool and delightful garden attached to our hotel, added to the relaxing and perfect atmosphere.

Everything was perfect Staff: We were greeted by very friendly staff who was fluent in English. She went the extra mile by cooridinating with the Mondsee tourist information centre to get our Salzkammergut card. She helped us check-in even though we were a few hours early. Because we were early, she wasn't able to show us the hotel and its facilities, but they do offer that when you arrive, a great personal touch not many hotels do. We actually returned to the hotel much later in the evening and we didn't want to bother the staff, who we think was a waiter from the restaurant. The staff that waited during breakfast were fantastic as well. Room/Facilities: With only 8 rooms (5 in the "floor" we're on), it felt very exclusive. Everything still feels very new. The only noise you'll hear from your room is the water on the lake. The room was massive and the bed is similar (if not actually) to a king size bed. The pool and sauna was very nice after a long day of sight seeing. You are able to get into the lake from the sauna facility (you will have to navigate through some stairs). They also have nuts, candy and flavoured water in the hall for you to take throughout the day, great little detail. The breakfast was...wow...the spread was insane. Cold cuts, salmon, all sorts of bread, cake, pastry, yogurt and cereal that you can customize yourself, eggs/bacon/ham/omelette freshly made at your request. Cannot stress how amazing the breakfast was... Ambiance/Vibe: The view of the lake as you enter the hotel was stunning, especially when it's sunny. There is a very chilled and relaxed vibe with this hotel and their restaurant. It didnt feel like it's just a place for you to crash after a long day of sight-seeing. The other thing we very much enjoyed was the fact that most patrons of the hotel and restaurant were german speaking. We felt out of place, in a good way.
