The apartment has everything you need to spend several days in comfort, with kitchen equipment and appliances provided to prepare anything from breakfast to gourmet meals. Additional nice features are the huge and luxurious bathroom and the convenient parking directly across the road. The hostess is very helpful and makes sure that you have a pleasant stay. If you want to visit major sights and towns in the Waldviertel area, then this is the perfect central location to head out for day trips. This was my third time staying at Spitaler apartments, including twice with my wife and daughter, and we are looking forward to booking here again whenever we visit the area. We highly recommend it!

Breakfast was good but basic - no eggs or yoghurts were offered but got lots of nice rolls, ham, cheese, honey and jams instead also good coffee and local bio teas from Sonnentor. The rooms are set back from the main street and can be accessed through an alley that leads to the parking. My car was parked under the appartments where you stay but is generally very quiet. Cheap and cheerful would best describe the place, you get a nice bedroom with balcony and bathroom, nothing more, nothing less.

One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful breakfast served in a beautiful picnic set. The farm-to-table concept was evident in the freshness and quality of the food, all sourced from the property and neighboring farms. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality greatly enhanced our stay, adding a personal touch that is often missing in traditional hotels.
