Lovely quiet place to stay in. House with beautiful surroundings, room was spacious and clean, plus very comfortable. We really liked the possibility to play mini golf. Host was very friendly, offered us coffee in the morning and allowed us to stay in the private beach area next to lake after our check out as well, which we really appreciated. What also wowed us was the large greenery around and even on the buildings.

We had exceptional customer service even before we arrived at Hotel Alexanderhof as we were offered a cold dinner as we weren't going to arrive until after the end of dinner serving. We were welcomed by Lucas who was friendly and informative. The room was comfy with amazing views, the buffet breakfast was vast and delicious. The pool, whirlpool and sunbathing lawn an added bonus. All staff were friendly. The decor felt very Austrian, which we appreciated as visitors from the UK, the whole experience was exceptional, we were sad to leave

    From 7:30 till 11:00, the hotel had an amazing breakfast buffet! which, if you want to sleep a little longer, is ideal. The staff provided us two room alternatives and was really kind and knowledgeable. The hotel is owned by a family, and it is clear that they are skilled at what they do and like what they do. The hotel includes a self-serve beach bar with affordable rates on its own private beach. Free Standup Paddle Boards and 2 little row boats are also available to you to explore the lake.

    Lovely location by the lake. The owner was very welcoming and nice touches of sweets and chocolates on the bed. Apartment very clean and the kitchenette had everything you need to cook a meal with. Nice touch that you get the Millstatter card, to use locally, included.

    Spacious apartment that had everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean, looks like it was built lately. Super insulated during cold days. Great location, a 5 minute walk to BILLA supermarket and the lake. The hosts were extremely nice and even helped us to reach a local doctor to check our daughter. Like in a lot of Carinthia area, hosts also speak mostly German. We used Google Translate from time to time and had no problem understanding each other.
