Martina’s guesthouse was spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable — one of the cleanest and most welcoming places I’ve stayed in. The bed was cozy, the setting quiet, and everything was prepared with great care. But what made this stay unforgettable was Martina herself. When I told her I had come to Horn to visit the town my grandmother lived in before the war, she helped connect me with people who had known my grandparents personally.
