Very kind host and amazing location. Building recently refurbished with modern design interiors. Small town, however it consists water park, restaurants, wild nature with amazing views. 25min. to drive till Neuschwanstein castle.

Gintherhof epitomises genuine guest house hospitality in a way that no hotel, however smart or expensive, can possibly match. From exquisite antique linens to highest quality down duvets, to the provision of hiking rucksacks to borrow, the thought and care by Annelies and her parents was heartwarming. The farmhouse is full of charm and interesting artefacts at every turn, the pine panelled bedrooms so cosy and inviting. Breakfast was off the scale - in addition to fresh fruits, nuts, cereals and yoghurts, there was a vast selection of homemade breads and jams, with cheeses, hams, local eggs and other savoury delights. We were even given bags and encouraged to make a packed lunch for ourselves! We left feeling restored and grateful for such kindness and friendship. What a welcome we will never forget.

Extraordinary located (several fantastic places to visit nearby) very comfortable and friendly place. The staff is very open and helpful, a big advantage are the soundproof walls which make you feel being the only hotel guest on site. Highly recommend, will definitevly come back.

    Very clean, warm welcome and restaurant on premices. We stopped there on our way to Italy (NB: hotel equipped with charging stations for EVs). We hadn’t the opportunity to discover the surroundings but the hotel seemed to be ideally located near trekking paths.

    Fabulous holiday apartment in a peaceful location. Everything on hand that could be required, and Fa. Schautzgy were very helpful with tips to make the best of our stay. We really liked the convenience of the spotless and well appointed kitchen, and the adjacent covered balcony with seating and a mountain view. There are many options for outdoor sport (hiking, climbing, mountaineering, paragliding) within 10-20 min drive.

    We stayed 3 nights and loved the place. Very clean, great installation, good breakfast and the staff were very friendly. The location is also great, good connection to Reutte and excellent to the sky resort.

    The price-performance ratio is very good, the hotel is in a good location where you can reach Neuschwanstein Castle within 30 minutes. The room was very clean. The breakfast tasted good. There was enough parking space

    The location is simply fabulous, with endless possibilities for hiking, biking, lake swimming and other. The staff was really friendly. It was very quiet, yet no one frowned upon our children. There were a lot of toys to borrow and a small playground. We had a ground apartment, it was ideal for us. Breakfast was rich, with some different specialty every day. Apartment was well equipped. There was a microwave, coffeemaker (two types!!!), coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Soft beds. All in all, we were exceptionally happy about our stay!
