During check-in the staff provided full information regarding services the hotel offers and timing. The check-in itself was very smooth only 2 mins. Our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The host (Manni) made us feel so welcome from before we even arrived, with prompt replies to messages we sent. He quickly showed us the equipment we could either hire (at a very reasonable cost) such as e-mountain bikes, or borrow for free (e-scooters and paddle boards). We wanted to try lots of things so this was perfect for us! The room was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony with stunning views! There was a coffee machine and breakfast items which could be purchased at a reasonable cost, and a communal lounge area where other drinks etc could be purchased and games could be enjoyed. It was my birthday while we stayed and Manni gave me an Austrian prosecco and wished me a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. We were really sad to leave here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

    This was our second time visiting das Urgestein. Some of my favorite things are the host, the beautiful location, and all the new amenities (whirlpool, sauna, and kids playground). What surprised me this time was the new ‘tech’. We were able to fill the whirlpool from the comfort of our apartment (super cool).
