There are many things that we loved about our stay like a beautiful view on the mountain(every evening different) from charming cottage house with everything you could think of inside or the nature nearby, calmness of the town, fantastic hikes in the area, however nothing compares to the kindness that we experienced from Amalia the host. When we arrived we were welcomed with fridge full of food, bottle of great Romanian wine and some beers (after 10 hours of drive it was a paradise). During our stay our car got broken and Amalia and her husband were very engaged with helping us in with this problem, they even offered to try and fix the car. I also got a small gift from Amalia and bday cake which was really heartwarming. I cannot express all the kindness we experienced, but if everyone was like that, the world would be a much better place :D Once again thank you for everything!

The location is really nice, a quiet area in the Alps. A beautiful lake can be found by driving 8 minutes to the south. There is a swimming pool which can be used, and it has a great view of the sunset (behind the alps). The property also has a large yard, which I assume could also be used. The apartment itself is in an old house, renovated and nicely decorated. We spent one night there, but it had everything we needed. Even in summer, the nights were nice and chilly for a good nights sleep. We met some of the neighbours at the pool and at the parking lot, and everyone was really nice and friendly.

    We had a wonderful welcome and the situation was idyllic. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped with a balcony with superb views of the surrounding mountains. Facilities were excellent with very good parking places.

    On arrival our host Ingrid prepared for us home made cakes, marmelade, elderberry syrup, beer/radler. She also provides bread service, which is fantastic. Next day she cooked an amazing cake for us. Ingrid was best host we ever experienced and we will definitely come back. It is a beautiful apartment in wonderful location. Very well equipped kitchen. Room for kids, which our 2 year old son really loved.
