We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it: the view, the surrounding forest and plains with tracks and bike lanes, excellent breakfast with lots of options, the service, the staff, not too pushy, but there if you needed anything, the quiet nights, the fact that there is no music at the restaurant and you can actually hear and feel the nature around you. The rooms are spotless, spacious, with everything you need, same in the bathroom.

Location was excellent, a short 15 min walk to the old town. Alexander and Iris were very welcoming and showed us on arrival places to go visit. Parking included and the breakfast was very good. Room was clean and to a good standard. I would say closer to 4 star. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Salzburg.

beautiful, clean, green, massive room with beautiful traditional Austrian/Bavarian feel, just as was expected by pictures. the wellness, the multiple saunas and steam rooms with different styles and temperatures was just amazing in this cave style wellness maze. such a refreshing and relaxing holiday!

The Gentle Hide Designhotel is fabulous. It’s in a great location to the centre - just a short walk over the bridge. Plenty of restaurants on both sides of the bridge so we tended to spend our days in the centre and then back to the hotel, change and then explore the restaurants by the hotel in the evening. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff couldn’t have done more taking care of us and making us feel welcome. Just fabulous. 10/10
