excellent location 20 min walk from Parliament Hill and all the main attractions. the metro 15 min walk. varied and quality breakfast. water available in the room every day. kind and helpful staff. the room was very spacious and the bed comfortable as well as the washroom. impeccable cleanliness of every room. To say we were thrilled is an understatement! This hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way possible. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was delicious. Special mention to the cream cheese and the bagel which was a great surprise to the typical breakfast menu. The room was AMAZING. The bed, the bathroom, the size of the room. Great value for money, exceptionally clean and great shampoo and conditioner included in the bathroom!

I had a wonderful stay at the Saintlo Jail Hostel. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. When I mentioned that I felt uncomfortable in the four-person room, they kindly reassigned me to a single room, which was much more comfortable. The jail tour is excellent—if you have time, I highly recommend joining it. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, with cereal, bread, fruit, and eggs. The entire building is fascinating, and the single room was cozy and clean. I’ll definitely come back the next time I visit Ottawa.
