Extremely clean, very convenient rooms. Bathrooms are shared but very close to the room (we stayed at 1st floor). Amazing and well maintained garden with many spots to chill, bbq and nice guest living room. Breakfast was decent also (even though no hot options) but very tasty coffee and croissants. Very helpful staff. Amazing views!

We had an unforgettable stay in Brienz! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking during our holiday. The location is very convenient and easy to reach. What made the stay extra special was the breathtaking view at the back of the house—right by the lake! We even went for a swim and enjoyed the peaceful, stunning scenery with the lake and surrounding mountains. Absolutely magical! Our host was kind, responsible, and quick to respond to any questions or issues. Communication was smooth throughout our stay. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brienz. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Everything! Great place in the first line at the Brienzsee shore, also it's near the train station. People there are really warm and welcoming so you can feel like you're home. Really delicious breakfasts and comfortable accommodation - there is also a kitchen with a kettle and microwave etc if you need anything during the day. Totally recommend - it was so peaceful and great to spend a few days there.

The few days we spent at Grandhotel Giessbach were truly like a dream. The hotel’s stunning natural scenery, historical architecture, and peaceful atmosphere captivated us from the very first moment. Everything was thoughtfully planned and flawless. However, one of the most important details that made our stay so special was meeting Kris Jungo, who works at the Front Office. Kris was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home. He patiently answered all our questions and enhanced our vacation with his recommendations, making it much more enjoyable. Kris’s professionalism and warmth were a wonderful reflection of Grandhotel Giessbach’s quality. Staying at this hotel is not only a peaceful getaway but also an opportunity to meet wonderful people. Helen was just wonderful. For your info, there are 2 busses with number 103. We obviously did not notice and when we were asked to get off the bus at Brienz See stop, she came from her house to pick us up. The view you get from the room is just as the pictures. It's just a short 70m walk to the lake where you can take a stroll or run. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop from this place. 6 to the ferry which is right next to the "Crash Landing on You" site. Facilities were great. Fully functioning kitchen, large room and bath, TV, and WiFi. Hot water may run out but I just found out it's a nationwide problem.
