The accommodation is excellent! The location is great! It's peaceful and quiet, but everything is very close. The hosts are amazing! Kind, discreet, and very welcoming. They are happy to help with anything. The breakfast is fantastic, with homemade, high-quality food. I highly recommend it!

Great location, beautiful view, clean and tidy room. As it was off-season for tourists, I was the only traveller in the hotel during my stay, but the manager was still very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was well organised and delicious! The manager prepared an extra croissant for me every day after learning that I like croissants. The shower gel in my room was taken away by a previous guest and the manager replenished it with two, lent me a hairdryer and provided me with extra pillows on request. If you are planning a trip to Château-d'Oex or Montreux, I highly recommend staying at this good value hostel. I will be coming back very soon!

Amazing customer service by Allen and his team. I had a splendid time and they were very very accommodating and trusting. Place was clean. Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was delicious. The chef made me fried egg with some toasted bread and the pastries were delicious. Plenty of parking outside and very easy to find. Very close to chairlifts approx 2 minute drive in a car.

Location is good, in the center. Clean, organized apartment. The owner provided cleaning/room service every day, including changing towels, filling in coffee/tee. The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

    The hotel was a nice pleasant mixture of traditional Swiss and quite modern. We were able to check in earlier than expected. Its location is excellent- close to the station and the centre of the town. The room was small but comfortable, clean and with a comfortable bed. A small window looked out onto outside eating area and street below, with a view of the mountains beyond. There was a reasonable choice for breakfast, which was typically continental and there was the facility to boil your own eggs. Pictures are from the window of our room.
