I loved Salamandra!. The property/garden is absolutely beautiful and cozy with a huge variety of lush flora. Everything was super clean and all four breakfasts I had were different and delicious. Jose and Silvia are extremely attentive hosts... they're simply the best. I would return in a heart beat.

It was an absolute 10/10 experience. The location is amazing, there's a river just a 100 meters away in the forest where you can take a dip. The garden is full of beautiful plants, fruits (which we could take) and birds... a lot of birds think hummingbirds, tucans, and many other colourful birds. Jorge was always extremely helpful, he picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station of Guapiles, and he offered to takes us to town to do the groceries. He also took us to a nice waterfall for a very reasonible price where he stopped many times to show us interesting things and told us a lot about Costa Rica. The room and the kitchen only have basic equipment but they had all the essentials we needed.

One of the most beautiful places (if not the most beautiful) I have ever booked. Extremely nice owners who made us fall in love with this place even though it was supposed to be just a quick pit stop. We were served a great breakfast with composed of homemade.
