Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. Very nice and quiet little place - beautiful rooms and pool. Lovely owners, who were there the whole time taking care of the place and of us. We came without a car, and they gave us lifts to the beach, the supermarket and even to the new hotel, when we after some very relaxing days moved on. Amazing.

We had a very nice room right beside the pool. There was a lounge area near the pool as well. The breakfast was different every morning and always delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel if you want go to Tamarindo.

The location is perfect – just a 1-minute walk from the beach, where you can catch breathtaking sunsets every evening. The vibe of the hostel is relaxed, friendly, and super welcoming. A special shoutout to Juan, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay – especially when I needed to buy my Tica Bus ticket. He was incredibly kind, patient, and resourceful. If you're looking for a chill spot close to the ocean, with helpful staff and a great atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!
