it was like arriving home ! What lovely people, we were greeted like old friends, had lovely chats, were kindly upgraded with our room, then Anna, who is a wonderful cook, made us a superb meal. The room and bed were perfect, and the breakfast probably the best we’ve had over many years in Europe. Two lovely, hard working, and very genuine folk. a very special stay for us. Thank you both most sincerely.

    Lovely comfortable room and comfortable bed and a great shower. Very clean. Really nice breakfast and very close to the town. A great location on the Rhine. We were even allowed to use the owners garage to put the motorbike in.

    The hotel was beautiful, especially the breakfast room which was breathtaking. Breakfast was great too, all staff we saw said hello and were very friendly. Checking in and checking out was very straightforward and the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring Bacharach and beyond via the RheinBurgenWeg.

    It’s very clean, comfortable and quiet. There is everything you need for living in there. Even dishes and cutlery for kids. It’s so touching! When we read, that we’d have sightseeing view and courtyard view at the same time we didn’t believe it) but we are pleasantly surprised at the place, having seeing both view from the balcony. Great location, Great place, Great host! And you can buy great wines from your host. Don’t hesitate and buy all of them!
