What a great Hotel, didn't expect the standard from a hotel in the middle of no where. Really well styled, the food was really great, the welcoming staff checking you in were so helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel, as a great place to have a meeting, but also to switch off and relax. Seeing some of the activities they arrange, this looks like a great place for a short break.

Returning to Hotel Zur Post is always a treat: the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask at the desk for anything, even for places to visit in the area - we had a lady explain to us every step to reach a certain viewpoint, she even drew us a hand drawn map which was insanely adorable! The rooms are clean and spacious, this includes the bathroom which features all amenities. The breakfast is very good and the general atmosphere is very serene and quiet. Overall, it's a real pleasure to stay at Zur Post and I am happy to return every year for the Prophecy Fest from Balve :)

    Great apartment in a very convenient location, very comfy bed with all appliances and was easy to get to. The hosts were always approachable by phone and made it very easy for us to get to the apartment. Parking was right in front of the door which is always handy.

    Wonderful peaceful location with lovely local walks and sunny terrace . Staff were wonderful ,helpful and friendly. Dining room was lovely and light in the morning for breakfast. Pool was blissful.

    Very clean and comfortable accommodation, super attentive and friendly staff, love sitting at the "Stammtisch" and enjoy a tasty meal with the best Veltins on tap in the region provided by Klaus, the owner and chef! Home from home since 1974 for me and I was glad to be back after a long break due to Covid!

    very traditional although decor was a little tired the location was stunning. unfortunately the lift was broken so there were several flights of stairs to manage to get to some of the rooms.
