The location was perfect. We could see the castle Hohenzollern from the property. It was only a 10 minute trip by car to the castle. The property was in a small town called Bisingen, very quiet and relaxing. The hosts were the nicest people and very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful in a typically South German style furnished room. My husband had wanted to see this castle for a long time and we’re glad we did. It was a much better experience than Neuschwanstein with a lot less tourists.

Very nice and large room, everything looked new/renewed. Excellent breakfast. The playground is ideal for small kids. The restaurant was also quite good. The staff there amazing. 10 min from hoenzollern castle by car.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel am Schlossplatz. We were met at the front desk by the lovely owner of the hotel, she checked us in, took our breakfast requests and showed us to our room. The room was huge, with high quality finishes, and nice furnishings, bed covers etc. There was a fridge in the room, intercom, 2 large wall mounted TVs and if you visit in winter you won't be cold - the room had three very large new wall radiators with digital thermostats. Very nice bathroom with great lighting and also with a large wall mounted towel heater. The bed was huge and so comfortable, pillows and linens, towels etc were super clean and new and the room was very quiet. There were coffee making facilities in the room and the breakfast which was delivered to our room was excellent and more than adequate. Such a lovely stay. Thankyou!

Landhaus Engel is off the beaten track,so beautifully quiet.From our window we could see a field with horses and their foals.An idyllic scene.The accommodation managed to mix rustic with comfort.Our room was very spacious and comfortable,the bathroom classy with anthracite tiling,but not "clinical". The exposed wooden beams lent the room a lot of character. Breakfast was good and appetising in particular as the impression was that all had been very freshly prepared,e.g raw veg,fruit salad. The "host" was friendly and attentive. Angels were visible ,but always tastefully distributed . The wings on the terrace I particularly liked!
