There are a lot of things we like about this hotel: - It’s pet friendly. They provide bed, bowls and even a treat for your dog. - The rooms are huge, well designed and clean. We especially love how the bathrooms are designed. - The maxi bar is great to get coffee, tea or other beverages/snacks. It’s especially useful if you travel with a baby, like we do, because in it you’ll find a microwave and cutlery too. Fresh water is also always available. - It’s very convenient to have both the restaurant and the shop just outside the hotel. Both sell excellent products. - If you travel with kids, they have an outdoor playground. - The location is very convenient, less than 10 minutes from the highway, which makes it a great hotel for a one night stop en route. - We did not try breakfast since we left very early in the morning, but they provide a breakfast to go if you ask for it the day before.

Outstanding. Highly recommended. Location is made up of several apartments which are spacious and exceptionally well-built (under-floor heating, triple-glazing, remote-controlled blinds and Velux), with lovely views over to the Black Forest. Furnishings are functional but fully equipped with plenty of available spares. From the outset Frau Simon was helpful and informative, but never intrusive, and gave us a most warm welcome. Tiengen is a typical rural village (bakery, restaurant, petrol station) c.14 kms. from Freiburg. It’s an ideal location to explore the nearby Kaiserstuhl and both the Black Forest (D) and Vosges (F). Freiburg is within easy reach by car (to Park & Rides) or by public transport (v. frequent buses from Tiengen which connect up with the tram network). The town of Colmar is c 35 kms away and always worth a visit.

I had a very pleasant stay at this private apartment in Breisach am Rhein. The location is excellent — within walking distance (about 6 minutes) to Breisach am Bahnhof, and close to several supermarkets, which made it very convenient. It was also a great base for visiting Europa Park, which is just a short drive away. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area.
