Best booking I have made so far ! Excellent in all fields the rooms were very cozy made with good taste combining village atmosphere with modern amenities immaculately clean and tidy ,the location magnificent a very beautiful Bavarian village next to the Altmühl river. The hostess Doris was very friendly and helpful providing all the info about the area!!!

Wonderful, peaceful, friendly sanctuary. Beautiful location on the bank of the river. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The restoration of the building is of very high quality with great attention to detail. Wifi is super fast. There are beautiful walks around the area, all the way to the neighbouring town Kelheim. There is even a ferryman who takes you to the other side of the river for 2 euros! Resturant has excellent food and is well priced in my opinion. There is a brewery in the monastery and the Barock Dunkel beer is particularly delicious. When coming back from my walk, a monk stopped and helped us with directions, very friendly and so nice. I originally booked two nights but ended up staying for three.

Cyclists friendly. Penzion is located in a good location, comfortable, well equipped and maintained, ready for cyclists. I had the windows of the room facing off the main street and a large terrace, so, total satisfaction. Good breakfast.
