The host Pat has gone out of his way to do as much as possible to assist me with my first visit to Quito. This is a place that you could stay a few days and feel at home. The food prepared by Maria is also muy delicioso :) It is the perfect destination, so much so, I stayed another day!

    The location is close to the airport. the price is affordable when you have a reservation. Without reservation as in emergency, they hit you with exorbitant price. There's one decent eatery/restaurant nearby. The entrance to the hotel from the airport road is rugged; it seems to be not approved by the gov't. The room is very small and noisy. one can hear the sound of the toilet flushed from the other room. Taxi service is unreliable and takes a long time to arrive for pick up.
