Everything was great! It was a very hot day and we were a bit worried that the tent is too hot to sleep in but by night time the tent got nice and cool and we had the best sleep. Also skinny dipping in the lake is a special privilege there.

The host was very hospitable, the place was nice and clean, there was everything you need. The main room had a very comfortable wooden bed. The guest house is an old wooden building, authentically restored, with very well preserved details (floor, ceiling). The rooms are practically furnished, suitable for longer stays (up to several weeks). In our room, apart from the bedroom with a double and a single bed, there were two sofa beds in the living room. This makes it suitable for a larger family. As it turns out, one of Tartu's sister cities is Tampere in Finland. Tampere maja plays a central role in organizing bilateral relations and functions not only as a guest house but also as a cultural centre. For example, the property houses a gallery where works by Finnish and Estonian artists can be viewed, and related artworks can also be seen in the guest rooms and the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, offering both local and international dishes. The guest house is very close to the central square of the old town, but most attractions are within walking distance.
