The unique atmosphere of the house is giving a welcoming and relaxing feeling, while encouraging some interaction with other guests, for example during the shared dinner. The whole place is very beautiful, no details are missed. Huge thanks to the staff who was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Even though I could be spending all my time by the pool, I also enjoyed the surrounding areas full of nature and great for hiking and bike rides.

The owners of the house were so helpful and gave us good advice on local places to visit. The house is full of wonderful paintings and very comfortable. The pool and garden are very good and parking was excellent. We will go back to Can Siso as the surrounding area is lovely.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A beautiful stay in the heart of Besalú I had a wonderful stay at the St. Julià Suite – it’s a peaceful, comfortable space right in the middle of the historic centre, with lovely views of the Church of Sant Julià. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the village on foot. The suite itself is bright and nicely decorated, with a cozy, minimalist style that feels both modern and warm. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with a great shower, and the little kitchenette came in handy for coffee and light meals. I really appreciated the easy self check-in and how quiet and private the space was. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything felt clean and well cared for. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for a relaxing base in one of the most charming medieval towns in Catalonia. I’d happily stay again!
