this is a wonderful place in the mountains of Corsica, with very dear hosts. the accomodation is self-made by the host, very carefully done and very charming. We enjoyed our too short stay a lot. The dinner cooked by the host was amazing. truly unforgettable experience

Set in the small village of Rutali, you are treated to peace and quiet as well as beautiful vistas of the Corsican mountains. The gardens are amazing with the smell of lavender in the air and the chime of the local church. The room we had was perfect for our needs. We went to a supermarket (15min drive) and cooked most evenings in the fully equipped kitchen but you can get breakfast and dinner each day for a fee which is delicious (try the shepherd’s platter). Claude is a lovely host. He showed us around and gave great recommendations of what to see in the local area. We liked that he was happy to chat or leave you to chill out depending on what you wanted. It’s helpful to brush up on your french phrases as not everyone speaks English. There is also a cute, friendly white cat that makes it’s home there. We will miss staying here. Thank you for a truly wonderful place for our honeymoon.

Beautiful, very old house with a wonderful view of the bay. Beautiful garden. The host is very friendly and has thorough knowledge of Corsica. He speaks several languages ​​perfectly. One of the coolest places we visited in Corsica. There is also a nearby restaurant, I Fratelli, in the village of Rapale, which serves delicious food.
