This is my second visit to this B&B and it is excellent. Great location, lovely room, clean, warm and comfortable, with a good breakfast and friendly attentive service. Ideal for touring or enjoying the Monday Foire!

Michael and Alyssa are fabulous hosts like old friends, the location is peaceful and relaxing, well equipped for families or couples or even lone travellers! We will be back, well located to Auberterre with it's beautiful abbey, Brantome with it's weekly market along with Riberac for a traditional French café try La Cologne near the tourist information in Riberac. Most of all relax in the beautiful surroundings right on your doorstep, read a book by the pool or under the shade of the many trees, take a walk down to the lake to see the fish, at night listen to the enchanting songs of the frogs and other nocturnal animals! Bon vacance mon amie ❤️

Everything was brilliant. I loved the location and the house itself. Comfortable bedroom. Very pleasant hosts. Breakfast was wonderful - tastiest eggs ever! If I’m ever in the area again I’ll certainly try to book in here.

Very peaceful house and area. Facilities were excellent. House is very spacious and modern inside. Host was a gentleman. We came over as we were playing music in a nearby town and we couldn't have picked somewhere better to stay.

Everything was perfect and way above our expectations. The house is located in a calm area in the middle of the nature surrounded by trees. Lise and Bernd were very welcoming with a high attention to details. The breakfast at the pool garden was a wonderful experience. Finally, we were very impressed by the gastronomic dinner at the Boisdalon so carefully prepared and served by Lise.

    This property had everything you need for an exceptionally comfortable holiday. Totally equipped to a high standard and short of nothing. Even had a choice of gas or charcoal BBQ both spotless and ready for use. The pool was excellent very clean and well maintained. Outside space provided fantastic privacy and a wonderful selection of furniture. The accommodation also benefits from being within secure gated grounds. The restaurant at the Chateau in Chalais was also wonderful. This is a great place and very good value for money.

    The location of the property is excellent. Easy to get around to some lovely places eg Chalais, Aubeterre Sur Dronne, which is stunning with lots of restaurants ten mins from the house. The hosts were very accommodating and replied to our questions promptly. The house and garden just beautiful and very clean. The outdoor area is stunning with many facilities. The tennis court was a fabulous little touch. We had lots of fun and relaxation here. Superb, thank you for a lovely getaway.

    Spotlessly clean beautifully furnished and excellent value for money. The host Helene was very welcoming and patient over the check in arrangements which were lost in translation. Continental Breakfast was an excellent choice of fresh produce. Location excellent right in town opposite the Marie
