The hotel was easy to find and is a beautiful building with a large carpark and a few green areas for our dog. We asked and received a ground floor room which was perfect as we had a door to a little garden beyond. The room itself was smart, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was dark and quiet to give a good nights rest. Staff were professional in appearance and seemed to enjoy their work. Dinner was lovely accompanied by an excellent St Emilion. Breakfast was varied and good to see meat, cheese and eggs available. We loved the classy dining room. Will we return? Certainly.

Quiet and peaceful Location, good parking, very comfy bed, welcoming and generous hosts, proximity to pretty town centre with plentiful restaurants. Madame Gwendoline ready to help in all ways and will explain how the shower works. Large bed with lots of cushions, two of which are the pillows (ask Mme Gwendoline if uncertain!!) Delicious breakfast spot on time. Lots of interesting historical facts about the building and the town. A pleasant surprise on many fronts.

    Had booked this hotel due to closeness for Channel Tunnel - what a find !!! First class and very friendly staff who genuinely were keen to ensure any stay would be enhanced and maximised. Room very clean, excellent facilities and great sleep. Restaurant was simply outstanding - very professional and clearly utilises local produce. Will be back.

    Good location for travelling to Le Shuttle in Calais. Very good restaurant with extensive wine list, good quality french cuisine, all food dishes very well presented, staff very accommodating, and friendly , nice rooms , comfortable and very clean, nice bathrooms, dog friendly, reasonably priced , would recommend.

    Location - ideal staging post to or from UK heading north or east on the continent. God but not exceptional breakfast. Management have good English. Parking and car charging facility. Room on the ground floor with patio door makes for easy loading/off-loading. Very comfortable.

    The room was of a good size and very comfortable, the ensuite was very clean and well equipped. There was also a connected garden area which is superb. Although this is a very minor point, my wife and I are pretty old and a handle on the wall of the shower would be a very good addition. Parking, which was superb, was very adjacent to the hotel, very clean and secure and also had electrical charging points. Dinner was not cheap but excellent, my piece of pork was about the best that I have tasted and dessert (comme tiramisu) was outstanding.

    Great location - perfect for a stop on the way to Calais - an hour away. Massive very clean room with very comfortable bed and huge bath. Good shutters for blackout. Excellent 3 course dinner for 31 euros and reasonable wine
