What a wonderful stay we had. Martin and Melanie are the most perfect hosts who just cannot do enough for you. I had an issue which Martin sorted with a few trips to his local post office. Much appreciated. Big bedroom, big bathroom a super duper breakfast which gives Martin the chance to show his culinary skills off to great effect! Everything is fresh and home made - do not pass over Melanie’s own made granola. Delicious. The breakfast is taken at a communal table which gave us the chance to chats to other guests who were lovely...fellow Celts from Scotland and Ireland. Thank goodness genuine hospitality is alive and thriving and especially in this marvellous bed and breakfast. Top marks....top place, top host and hostess, highly recommended.

We live abroad but we are regular visitors when back in the UK. To us it is perfect in every way. A beautifully put together property. Great staff so friendly and helpful. The food is terrific and our meal last night was simply superb. We can’t recommend the Devonshire Arms highly enough indeed it is my wife’s favorite place to stay.

    Modern, clean well and appointed house with great living space and amenities and a lovely view of the Somerset countryside and some friendly cows! Spotlessly clean and very amenable and helpful host / owner. Great loft room for the kids with two singles if you don’t mind not having a door between you.

    Wow… this place was amazing. We didn’t want to leave! Beautifully built lodge which was spotlessly clean. You can tell the owner takes pride in the place and has really thought of everything. The photos don’t do it justice. The view from the bedroom, the rooms, everything was just lovely. Such a peaceful location too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

    The Location is perfect. Nice and quiet rooms. Room Was spotless & plenty of space. The staff are super friendly and could not be more accommodating. Breakfast was also superb.
