Fantastic staff!!! Felt like home! Loved Maddie in the reception! She felt like a friend! Shared her childhood swimming spots, suggested hiking routes, outings 💕. Tom Butt in the reception had been there for nearly 20 years and smiled so much and always chatted with us. The owners Matt and Helen were amazing. Pottering around always with a smile. Most amazing stay ever and this is because of the people there. Everybody serving and in the bar were exceptional! We stayed both in the treehouse and in the hotel. The treehouse is such an experience! The terrace is peaceful. Gorgeous garden. Best parking right outside. Train station only only 5 min walk away. Gotta have a car to get around a bit. Quiet and peaceful.

This place was absolutely exceptional! The host provided incredibly detailed and helpful information, including the exact location and great tips for local trips, which made everything so easy. The house itself was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough – I’d go back in a heartbeat. The highlight of our stay, without a doubt, were the horses and adorable foals. Truly unforgettable!

The house was very well stocked , very roomy , heating great and all facilities good including the beautiful heated pool which we used a lot . Excellent place for children with playgrounds, pool etc . Lovely pub around the corner with excellent food . You’ll need a car but the roads are easy once you find the main roads

Absolutely beautiful holiday home to stay in. We loved it & didn’t want to leave! Everything is so new and done so beautifully it was all much appreciated. All the little things make the difference. Well, everything!! The property is very nice with a most warm atmosphere, very well kept and excellently equipped with everything one could wish for. The location is stunning with great views on the surrounding landscape. I could live here ;o) We met the host the day after we arrived and she is the most pleasant and friendly lady one is ever like to meet. The chocolate cake and fresh eggs waiting for us on arrival really were the cherries on top of the cake. Driving up to the property can be a bit of a challenge with failing light at the end of an autumn day but luckily the village isn't big and the inhabitants are most friendly and helpful in giving directions.
