We can’t wait to return. The welcome, the warmth, the ambience were all so appreciated The grounds were an added bonus - this is such a special place for kids and dogs as well as adults. . The fairy garden was a treat. The dining room is a gem. Imagine going to stay in the grand country home of a distant relation, and coming home with a new best friend. We had not planned to stay in Beauly during our round-trip of Scotland, but a broken-down motorbike brought us here, as this was the first village from the bike repair shop. And we can only say this was a blessing in disguise, otherwise we would not have discovered this gem of a guesthouse! We enjoyed 5 nights here in a truly spaceous room, with a big bed and very good mattrass, clean bathroom and the most wonderful of hosts. Tara made us feel so welcome and helped us in any way she could to make our stay unforgettable, despite our bike problems. Apart from the bedroom, there is also a shared breakfast room with a fridge & microwave, so you can bring your own breakfast or have a simple dinner here. But there is also a good choice of places to eat in the town centre, only a very short walk away. Tara is actually the owner of a fantastic Deli, where we stopped by every day for a good cup of coffee and delicious home-baked cakes (guests getting a 20% discount). The best thing of Gruinard House, which you don't see often in guesthouses, is the large, cozy living room that is open to share among guests. During our stay, there was another biker couple and it was so wonderful to get to know them, sharing a glass of whisky and delicacies from Tara's shop. After having my motorbike repaired, we felt we were leaving our home-away-from-home. We will definitely be back one day! And especially recommend this place to other bikers: we were allowed to park our motorbikes in the large garage where husband Billy keeps his own bike as well.

The hosts Peggy and Lawrence were wonderful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would highly recommend Danian if you are staying in Rosshire and exploring the Highlands. It was wonderful that they also accommodated pets as they had a dog of there own. It was so peaceful and tranquil with only the birdsong to wake up to.

    The breakfast was adequate, but could be improved by having cheese, cold meat, prepared fresh fruit, and a cooked option available. The location has lovely views, and is convenient for travellers on the A9. Nice and quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable room.

    Kinkell House was situated in a peaceful rural location with beautiful views across the valley and to the distant highlands. The owners go out of their way to help you with anything you need. They are friendly and engaging hosts. The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. There is ample parking and good communication with hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B.
