What a wonderful place! We really enjoyed every moment we stayed at Nicola and Harry's perfect guest house , who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and provide us with everything we asked for and beyond. The design of the room, the comfortable accessories and the spectacular view from every window fulfilled all our expectations. The hospitality was warm and heartfelt and we felt at home thanks to the lovely couple. We would be very happy to return and stay again in this dream house.

We decided to spend Christmas in Wales as a family, somewhere where we could easily get to the mountains. We found Ty Daisy in Gilwern, near Abervegenny which turned out to be a real gem. The kitchen is very well equipped and large which was incredibly helpful as we were late booking Christmas dinner so had to cook. Very comfortable and well laid out house. Modernly furnished and exceptionally clean. The owners Fay and Chris are super hospitable and very nice people, sociable and helpful. We found lots of free stuff, champagne, biscuits, sausages, bacon, eggs. Really great place and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it wholeheartedly.

Very pretty little shepherd hut finished to a high standard in a beautiful location. Obviously a small space but still very comfortable. Lovely bathroom with lots of hot water. Friendly owners.

    We booked it as a very last minute stay in South Wales and it ticked all the boxes we needed. It was close to the locations we wanted to visit in Brecon Beacons, easy to get to, plenty of parking and a good size room with a private bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, great water pressure and the room overall was clean and looked after everyday.

    Location alright, room functional and served all our needs. Bed harder than I like but that is just me. All the ammenities you need in a room with no other facilities on site. Bathroom clean , best bit about the room was a great shower. Parking available but you had to drive up over a high raised curb

    The location was very close to town, a short walk over the bridge. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean tidy and spacious. There is a pool table downstairs and it only takes 50p a game. They also left chocolate sweets by the main door for guests, which I thought that was a very kind gesture.

    Friendly welcome and came to help with our bags from the car. Rooms were very clean and tidy and a lot larger than a usual travel lodge/ premier inn. Very quiet location and free parking just outside. Bedding was fresh and smelt lovely and clean.
