The place it’s just magical. Starting for the building itself, old and fantastic. Kids and ourself had an outstanding time. Kids especially enjoyed garden, fire place and jacuzzi❤️. Strongly recommended. We loved it and definitely will come back.

Lovely quiet location. Wonderful hosts Dianne and Michael . The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. Lots of little extra treats including cereals milk etc. Parking at the door and a short drive to shops and restaurants in Brighouse.

The room is brilliant and it was a nice touch to have tea / coffee and milk waiting. A special nice touch was to leave a packet of rolos and a picnic bar in the fridge. Great location for us as we were going to see a band at the Victoria theatre so a short walk and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Also to note nice and warm on entering and a lovely comfortable 4 poster bed. Good communication by the owner / landlord. We would 100% stay here again.

    Ruth's place was lovely, it was very well equipped and a great location for the event we were attending! She was brilliant at communicating about our stay ahead of arrival. The place has been decorated to a really nice standard with quirky features. Free Wi-Fi was really helpful to get some work done and use the smart TVs which are placed throughout. Although we didn't need them, Ruth's place has things like a high chair, washing machine and iron which are really handy!

    Location is great,with parking nearby (opposite); easy access via keysafe and the initial impression is good. The standard of furnishings,bedding and kitchen appliances/equipment is excellent .     Interesting and pretty old building with lots of charm, amazing huge wood beams, well equipped kitchen, wood burner was very cosy. The location is good for Halifax and close to near by amenities. The host was very friendly and attentive over messages and generously allowed an early check in 🙂

    The cottage is lovely and instantly felt like home. The notebook with all the valuable information was both useful and a nice touch. Having ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms was ideal, and the heating was easy to operate in the bedrooms. Moreover, the larger TV screen and free access to Netflix made for a relaxing evening after a long journey. Finally, the cottages was conveniently located near to our main location of interest.
