I absolutely loved my stay at the Beechtree Cottage! The Scottish beach house atmosphere was simply wonderful, everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and tastefully decorated. What made our stay truly special was our host, David, who welcomed us with such warmth and went out of his way to help us get a table at a nearby restaurant, where we were also warmly received. The breakfast was an absolute highlight, incredibly delicious, lovingly prepared, and presented with such elegance and attention to detail. You could truly feel the care and dedication in every part of the experience. Even though I may not have the chance to return anytime soon, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place – and I can only wish for every traveler to meet such a kind and thoughtful host.

Beechtree Cottage: lovingly furnished, spotless and cosy rooms decorated with fresh flowers and a very welcoming atmosphere. When arriving delicious homemade pastry was waiting for us. Paul is a super kind host who went through the extra trouble to organize dinner for us when local restaurants were closed due to unfortunate circumstances. Breakfast wasn’t only super delicious but again lovingly decorated with fresh flowers. We can highly recommend a stay as it is a true gem.

We loved the cosy feel of the cabin, and it's location was easy to find. The cabin has a rustic vibe and feels very quaint, perfect for a little Christmas getaway. We did go in December so it was freezing, but the heating was well-timed, so it worked out well for us. But if you're someone who feels the cold a lot, bring along some extra blankets and warm socks!

What did we like? The short answer is: everything. It's a family run glamping site in the middle of nowhere. The family is very nice and friendly, the site is very well maintained, clean toilets and showers, very good kitchen. Beautiful location!

    The breakfast was really nice and had plenty of choice. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The beds are very comfortable too (we even ordered the mattress they use for home after our stay) Chris and Gosha were very friendly and extremely welcoming. The honesty bar was a nice touch. It has a good choice of drinks and snacks to choose from and reasonably priced. Its in a Good location and the drive to it is beautiful. I would highly recommend paying a visit. All the best Ricky Gervais 🤣

    Gosia and Chris were so friendly, the place was stunning and spotless. Location is fantastic. I was staying for one night and leaving early for the Etape Caledonia so unfortunately couldn't sample the breakfast. I'd let them know this before and Gosia took my sandwich order and gave me a lovely packed lunch to take with me.

    The hosts really made us feel welcome and were always on hand if we needed anything. Great facilities and they've thought of everything. Beautiful rooms, log fires in the evening, fantastic breakfast and spotlessly clean. Perfect location for hikes, skiing and visiting pretty local towns. We can't wait to visit again.

    Rural property in scenic location. This is a very friendly establishment and we had a large, spotlessly clean double room. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The WiFi in the room was reliable
