Thank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.

Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

I was a little concerned that this would be a 'party hostel' but it was quiet and comfortable. We had a 4 bed room, but it was just for the three of us. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot! The heater worked well, which we were grateful for!

Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

The lodges were a dream come true for our kids. They loved staying in what they called the ‘tiny house’ and didn’t want to leave. We had the family one with the hunks beds. Sitting in the hot tub with a view out over farmland to the sea was lovely.

    Fantastic stay at Karrawa, Fyona was so welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and ideal for my trip; very clean and quiet for a good night's sleep. The location is ideal, just a short 15mins walk to the centre of Kirkwall and the breakfast was brilliant. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a great stay.

    The place was well presented, very clean and the host offer a very warm welcome. the location was ideal as only 10mins walk to the centre of Kirkwall and the day I was there was an exceptional day in terms of weather. Breakfast was great and met some other Australians who where staying there. Over all I was impressed and would recommend anyone to stay there.
