The breakfast was delicious, the views from the window were beautiful showing the quaint village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a mixup getting a taxi to the train station but the manager (Matt I believe ) drove us to the train station. He would not accept payment from us. We will never forget that.

Our pod was so cute, warm & welcoming for our w.e break! It had everything we needed & the beds & bedding were so snug! We also had our own immaculate bathroom a short stroll away. The site and utilities are very well organised. Tim, the owner was very friendly and hospitable. Lynda, the campsite manager was equally lovely. Modern, spacious, very clean & comfortable with lovely views. Very attractively furnished & decorated. Everything feels new. Owner clearly has very good taste & has thought of everything. Heating was on when we arrived which was very welcome as weather quite cold. Windows on 4 sides so lots of natural light. Bread, milk, teabags & coffee all provided as well as chocolates on pillow. Plenty of power points.

Superb location, a quiet countryside lane and yet just a very short walk to an excellent pub with a beautiful garden. The Nest had absolutely everything we needed, it was spotless, compact and very comfortable. It was definitely a home away from home. Forest walks were right on our doorstep, the whole area is blessed with beautiful parks, lanes and villages. There are loads of great pub meals to be had in the area and we even found some excellent coffee nearby. Our host Serena was very helpful, she really made us feel welcome and was full of great ideas for things to do.

    Characterful old pub in ideal location on outskirts of village. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, very quiet enabling a good nights sleep. After a long day travelling was able to relax in beer garden with an enjoyable evening meal and a few drinks. Superb breakfast next morning. Safe off-road parking for my motorcycle.
