The owners Steve & Vanessa are the best. They are personab;le, caring, easy to talk to, interested in you, etc. Steve is a great cook. The breakfasts & lunches were great. It was an extra special place to stay.

If you want to spend some time in a luxurious English country house, this is the place. It is approached from a long gravel drive, and then the magnificent house itself becomes visible. We enjoyed an excellent stay at The Granary in advance of our wedding. The property was perfect for our needs and was a very useful base to help us prepare for the big day. The hosts in particular were very warm and welcoming, and were there for us should there have been the need for any additional help. We would definitely like to stay here again!

    It’s a lovely pub with welcoming, kind and friendly owners. Well-kept beer; great breakfast and very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. I’ve stayed here before and will again; it was my partner’s first stay here and she loved it too. If you’re just passing through or even if you’re local and haven’t been, pop in and have a drink.     Set in a beautiful spot. Quiet and peaceful location. Lovely welcoming couple who own the Inn. So friendly. Great to take our dog and she loved the resident pub dog 😃. Lovely outside terrace for a few drinks to chill. Great breakfast too.
