This is a first class Inn. The property is very well managed and the staff are very professional and friendly. We were a group of seven family members staying for one night. We ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Everyone had a fantastic meal and the service was very good. The rooms are cosy but it is not user friendly if you are not sure footed as there are several stairs and steps.

The quality of the work done on the buildings and the materials used - brilliant . Being out in the fields - endless rolling fields - really nice. Sitting out on the patio having breakfast early morning watching Red Kites . Little touches like the bread , milk etc for us to use ( I bake a lot of bread, have a big interest in all things to do with bread - and it was interesting to see that you had grown the wheat - the bread was excellent ) . It felt relaxing - somewhere to drop anchor , cook food and ' switch off ' . We really felt like we'd had a holiday.

    The location is ideal if you want a zone to relax. Very peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful. We stayed at the Hollow which is over 2 floors for 2 nights and could have quite easily have stayed longer. Perfect. Well maintained and very clean. Facilities are excellent, bathroom and shower amazing. Cant fault the venue could have easily stayed for the week.

    Hotel is basic but very clean you get a decent breakfast theirs a bar near the reception and you can order food in the evening it's location is ideal very close to the A1 will be staying there again it's a good place for a stop gap and good value for money we willbe there again in a couple of weeks £60 for the night on a saturday For two people and breakfast you cant go wrong
