The Bear inn, best weekend away ive had in years,,,the chalet i stayed in was fantastic modern set within a courtyard behind pub was first class and quiet,,collin the owner was welcoming and very helpful, pub had a great atmosphere where you felt very welcome with a great atmosphere. Food well you won't go hungry and homemade at prices that left me scratching my head, best stay for the carvery on Sunday that was lovely!!! Highly recommended maybe back this weekend

Finding the perfect family house for a short getaway is always a blend of expectation and surprise, and our recent stay at this lovely rental did not disappoint. The living room with its plush sofas become a hub for evening conversations. The kitchen had enough space to allow multiple people to prepare meals - a delight for our family cooking sessions. The four bedrooms were spacious with two off them featuring en-suite bathrooms.The house had a playroom stocked with board games and a PlayStation, which kept the children entertained throughout the stay.

    To try and give this place some positives - Shower was decent, good water pressure. Wi-Fi was fine. Very inexpensive for the size of the property. Array of cutlery and utensils, in the kitchen. Good amount of space for two people.

    loved the location as it was only 40 minutes to Cardiff and 50 minutes to Brecon Beacons. it had a nice little town 5-10 minutes walk away if you needed anything.
