The quality of the work done on the buildings and the materials used - brilliant . Being out in the fields - endless rolling fields - really nice. Sitting out on the patio having breakfast early morning watching Red Kites . Little touches like the bread , milk etc for us to use ( I bake a lot of bread, have a big interest in all things to do with bread - and it was interesting to see that you had grown the wheat - the bread was excellent ) . It felt relaxing - somewhere to drop anchor , cook food and ' switch off ' . We really felt like we'd had a holiday.

    I’ve stayed before and location for work is ideal. The staff are very friendly and are always helpful and happy. I stayed in a fairly new room this time and it was really nice. The only thing is that the car park spaces are too small now and not many cars can park within the lines.

    Staff were really lovely, especially Maisy. The location was good, bedding was clean and so we're the towels. Breakfast was good continental, cutlery and crockery was very clean. Bar was ideal, glasses were exceptionally clean. Good quality wine in single size bottles. Staff need training on how to pull a pint though.
