We booked two rooms at Rooftop Kazbegi on June 26 and it was a fantastic experience! Stepping out of the balcony, you can see the snow mountain peaks in full, stunning and unobstructed view (see photos). It was truly an awe-inspiring moment when we entered the rooms. The property is not in the town center but rather higher up on the slope facing Mount Kazbek - this provides a much better view of the mountain. It is very close to Rooms where we had a great dinner. This property is also very quiet at night because it is far away from the major road running through town. I would say the location is perfect for staying in Kazbegi. The rooms themselves are good too - they are clean and have all the facilities you can expect. Overnight temperature dropped to 0 degrees Celsius during our stay and the heater was turned on - making the room quite comfortable. And finally, the staff are truly superb and they made our stay in Kazbegi even more memorable!! We stored our luggage at the hotel and then went on to hike to Gergeti Trinity Church. After the hike, we had to catch the 5pm minibus back to Tbilisi but we were running late. We asked the hotel if they could deliver our luggage for a fee. They were so nice that they delivered our luggage for free, and insisted on not accepting our payment. This hotel truly made our spectacular stay in Kazbegi even more spectacular!

The location is great with very nice views of the mountains. The rooms are very nice, well decorated and well heated (the night was cold but it was very warm in the room). The breakfast was super good, too much food and very good quality. The best part were the owners Tamuna and Lado who were super nice and welcoming! They welcomed us with handmade cakes and wine and we had a great time talking with them. You feel at home with them!! Hope to come back to Georgia and be back to Garemta one day!! :)

The cottage is beautifully located! Not directly in Kazbegi but in small village above it which guarantees beautiful view not only on the mountains but on Kazbegi town as well. We really liked that besides of towels, there were also bathrobes! The place is new and well equipped and the owners are very communicative and sweet people:) We hope to come back one day when the weather will be more pleasant!

I had an exceptional stay in Kazbegi with my family on June 21st at Misty Rocks. The host was incredibly supportive and helpful. The room was impeccably clean, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The view from the cottage in the morning is to die for.Serene surroundings. The cottage was fantastic. We immediately felt at home. The view from the small terrace is magnificent. The cottage is very quietly located on the outskirts of Stepantsminda. There was even a decorated Christmas tree for us! We would stay here again at any time! Thank you!

    We had a great stay. The check-in process was very welcoming and smooth. The staff who speak good english are very friendly and helpful and very responsive and gave us very good suggestions to nearby restaurants and bars. The rooms are very comfortable with amazing view. The bathroom very clean. The breakfast is generous. The location is ideal, as it is not in the center where it is calmer but close enough to all activities.
