I loved how eager the staff were to make us feel very welcome. The environment was very clean and full of greenery which was a bit surprising considering its proximity to the beach. I also liked that the resort looked exactly as it was presented on the website.

Absolutely beautiful location and fantastic decoration. Staff couldn't be more helpful and the food was some of the best we had in Ghana. We didn't get a room with a balcony but looking at them afterwards I wish we had. The bar wasn't quiet open when we visited but the building looked beautiful with a great view of the beach. The place will be even better once that opens.

The location is a bit outside Elmina town, but close enough to walk. It also provides a panoramic view of town and castle. The a-la-carte breakfast menu was a pleasant surprise, and food was overall good and tasty. It's a new place which is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our room had a small balcony, which was perfect to watch the sunrise.

Located upon a hill over looking the harbour the Abuesi Beach Resort is a great choice to stay for a night or more. The owner Samuel is very welcoming and ensures that you have an excellent stay. He also went above and beyond, helping show us the Fort San Sebastian at Shama. The bar / restaurant has a really good selection of beers and other drinks available, and the food was excellent. Our room had AC, fridge, and a TV, with a sea view from the balcony. They are currently in the process of installing a swimming pool with adjoining bar.
