Dimitris picked up up from the airport, and took us to the ferry port when we left. Dimitris was an absolute star throughout our stay. He was always available and even collected us from a taverna at the end of our meal, even though he did not know which one we were in! He had magical powers! Dimitris was the same age as me. I acted like a true 81-year-old; Dimitris more like a 18-year-old! It was a ten minute walk to the nearest taverna and a bit hilly, but with a combined age of 159 years we found it no problem!

The studio was large and well-equipped. The view from the balconies was gorgeous and gives a very good "island feeling". The studio is also very new and modern. Local footpaths are nearby and the unique six-chapel monastery is close.

There was so much to like about Meltemi The view from the balcony out over the Aegean, watching the ships come and go, whilst sipping on local wine was so relaxing Ana, the host was so very welcoming and the studio was kept so clean with the best white towels ...ever! The hospitality we received was overwhelming,the family even invited us to join them for Sunday lunch, goat, potatoes and bread, all cooked on the wood fired oven. Thank you Ana for a lovely two weeks

A spacious apartment with a large terrace with a table and 2 chairs. Lacking a kettle initially, but one was quickly found. Comfortable and clean. Beautiful wooden furniture and brass. It soon felt like home. Sad to leave here and the island.

The location is quiet yet central, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—with a charming courtyard and traditional décor that reflected the island’s character. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality of our hosts—whether it was thoughtful touches in the room, helpful local advice, or simply the warm, friendly presence of the owners, who clearly care deeply about their guests’ experience. Maria, our host, welcomed us with a local spinach pie and even invited us into her ancestral, heritage-listed home dating back to 1850. She shared stories of its traditional features and spoke passionately about the heroic history of the Kassiot people—something she’s determined to see more widely recognised. Angelica offers more than just accommodation—it’s a meaningful, authentic experience. We’d happily return.
