One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. In terms of service and excellence. The staff were outstanding going above and beyond to make our stay so special. We loved the complementary ferry transfer to and from the hotel which made our travel a lot less stressful. Breakfast was amazing serving all kinds of delicious food. The rooms were so clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were even greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks when we arrived. The views from the restaurant were amazing offering a beautiful sunset over Naxos. I could not recommend hotel Grotta enough and we hope to be back again soon . ❤️

The staff, small/boutique hotel, views and breakfast were all fantastic. The owners and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable, and even let us enjoy a room with a jacuzzi for the day because it happened to be free, while keeping our room which had lovely views. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is one of those places that in my opinion is great value.

The hotel is superb, it’s brand new with amazing staff. The owners are polite and very professional. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, fine sand and crystal clear waters. The pool is amazing! The breakfast includes fresh fruit and a great variety of home made sweets and pies as well as local products. Other Restaurants are near by at walking distance! Overall the stay was amazing and we highly recommend it!

The place was very cosy and stylishly decorated, as in the pictures. We loved everything - the big TV, comfortable bed and the terrace. The design of chairs outside made me wonder about where I could buy it. It was very comfortable. We also liked that we could hear the sea. If you lean a bit from the balcony, you can see Portara and the sea. There was cleaning service every day (fresh towels, bed sheets, coffee, sugar, and tea bags) if desired. The cleaning lady was very nice, friendly, and accommodating, always leaving the apartment impeccably clean. The apartment is a short walk from supermarkets and the marina, so the location was perfect. We had a very comfortable stay.

The apartment was very new, clean, and well decorated. Because there were only 3 apartments it was extremely quiet and private too with a peaceful view of the city from the not so distant hillside . We were greeted by Alexandros and his brother upon arrival. They gave us keys and helped us get a rental car delivered to our apartment. Because the home is up in the hills about a five minute drive into town we found it extremely helpful to rent a car to get around and tour the island . Alexandros gave us lots of great suggestions of places to visit and eat across the island. We spent one day driving inland and seeing the old villages and another day relaxing on an amazing local beach. Upon our arrival we found our room ready and waiting for us with a fresh bowl of fruit and the refrigerator was stocked with snacks. They even dropped off some of their fresh eggs for breakfast the second morning that we cooked in our kitchen with the bread and ham they left us. My husband and I visited with our 20 year old daughter. We had a two bedroom suite that would comfortably sleep 4 if necessary. The master bedroom had its own sink and shower inside and then there was another bathroom and shower off the living room. Outside they had a nice table and chairs where you could sit and look over the countryside and enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink at sunset. We found our stay in Naxos to be a refreshing change from the more touristy islands. We highly recommend staying at the Opuntia Suites for a very pleasant stay at an extremely fair price.

The location is simply great. Every morning I would step out barefoot and go to the beach for running. There is plenty of great restaurants and tavernas in the neighborhood. The bus taking you to all the amazing Naxos beaches stops nearby. The place is brand new and we've been given the choice between two apartments. We couldn't go wrong with either. We didn't even realize we would be served a breakfast - we especially loved delicious homemade jams, pudding and the best figs we had ever tried. These are still nothing compared to the hosts. Their hospitality and helpfulness is unparalleled. We felt as if we were family sometimes. Unforgettable stay.

    The location was very peaceful, The owner of the property was extremely caring & helpful. The room was large and had plenty of space. The outdoor area was beautiful with lots of different things to look at. The village in which the hotel is located is small but has some hidden gems once you start walking around.

    The peace and quiet and the privacy were wonderful here. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you need to make full meals if you need. The bed was really comfy, lovely lighting for reading. A huge terrace for relaxing. A few minutes to local tavernas. Ideal for 2 people. Cute little mini market few mins away. Will need transportation to get around island for exploring. Loads of villages & beaches & hills to see!

    The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Evangelia, the host, is wonderfully warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her: whether it's local info or lending a beach umbrella. The pool area is beautiful and it's all too easy to just lounge around rather than explore. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast available but the menu looked fabulous. We did have coffee several times which was great and our daughter devoured the home made cookies.
